Thursday 31st January
Another cool kind of a day out here again…Been kept out of mischief today by recycling some of the flooring that the builders have lifted and going to replace with floor tiles… No, I did not burn the flooring!!!
I looked at the cameras just as the darkness came in this evening, and the one covering the birdtable had been very active for most of the day, Pheasants, Jackdaws, Starlings, Blackbirds as well as many numerous wee birds all caught on camera… The “local” Sparrowhawk flew over the far side of the garden late aftenoon…
Gary and Wendy Ruffel from down South are over again at present and reported in today, a similar story to here with a lot of wee birds in the garden where they are staying at Carnain, with regular sightings of a ringtail Hen Harrier seen most days so far
